Juliet Schlefer is a Brooklyn-based lyric soprano currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance at the University of Michigan School of Music Theater and Dance, class of 2022. She has had the honor to become a member of the African American Diaspora Music Project team this year. In addition to work with the AADMP, she’s had the pleasure to work for UM’s voice department in creating and producing their 2020 virtual recitals. In the performance world, Juliet aims to focus her work on telling personal stories by incorporating the classical arts, theater, and technology. She recently had the pleasure to perform as the soprano soloists for both Haydn’s Theresienmesse and Philip Glass’s Music in 12 Parts.
