Harriette Davison (b. 1923) was a composer, violinist, and pianist. She received her education at Oberlin Conservatory. Her song cycle of Langston Hughes poems, Fields of Wonder, was performed by The New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center in 1977 on their celebration of Black Composers week. Her art song In the Time of Silver Rain was recorded and performed by Darryl Taylor.
